To work in concert with the North Suburban Cable Access Corporation and the <br />North Suburban Cable Commission to help facilitate community programming in <br />the ten city franchise area. <br />9. To help develop and initiate television programming of are wide significance in <br />conjunction with other cities of the North Suburban Cable Commission. <br />CABLE COMMITTEE <br />The Cable Committee is a working group that identifies, develops, and produces <br />television programming for the government access cable channel. This committee is <br />compromised of either five, seven or nine members and technical staff as well as a <br />department head facilitator and a designated City Council liaison. The members must be <br />volunteers, and have an interest in and willingness to assist in the production of cable <br />programming. <br />GUIDELINES <br />Any program produced by the City of Mounds View's governmental organizations may <br />be cablecast on the government access channel. Programs produced by others about the <br />City of Mounds View's governmental organizations and/or its supported activities may <br />be cablecast on this channel, subject to the approval of the Mounds View Cable <br />Committee. Programs produced by other governmental agencies or other community <br />organizations may be cablecast on this channel, provided they have interest and value for <br />the citizens of Mounds View. Such programs shall also be subject to the approval of the <br />Mounds View Cable Committee. <br />Programs that contain, in whole or part, any of the following subject matter will not be <br />cablecast on the government access channel. <br />A. Commercial Message or Material <br />Anything promoting a product or a service with the primary objectives of <br />producing a monetary profit for a specific commercial organization or individual <br />may not air on the government access channel.
