He <br />3 believed the fork lift would be a much safer way to move materials to the mezzanine area of the <br />4 Public Works Facility than an overhead crane. <br />5 <br />6 Mayor Mueller thanked Public Works Director Peterson for researching and locating a high <br />7 quality used piece of equipment for the Public Works Department. <br />8 <br />9 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />10 <br />11 9. REPORTS <br />12 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />13 <br />14 Council Member Gunn stated she had a wonderful time at the Daddy Daughter Dance and she <br />15 thanked Police Chief Harder for organizing this wonderful event. <br />16 <br />17 Council Member Hull thanked Police Chief Harder and the Police Foundation for their efforts <br />18 and noted he had a great time at the Daddy Daughter Dance with his daughter. <br />19 <br />20 Council Member Bergeron stated he attended an orientation at CTV last week. <br />21 <br />22 Council Member Meehlhause commented he attended the Daddy Daughter Dance as well. He <br />23 thanked the Police Foundation and Police Chief Harder for all of their efforts. <br />24 <br />25 Mayor Mueller reported volunteers were still needed for Festival in the Park. She encouraged <br />26 those interested to contact City Hall for further information. She noted the next Festival in the <br />27 Park Committee meeting would be held on Tuesday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. <br />28 <br />29 Mayor Mueller explained the Comprehensive Plan Taskforce would be meeting on Tuesday, <br />30 February 27th <br />31 <br />32 Council Member Meehlhause was proud of how the Olympians from Minnesota fared in the <br />33 recent Olympics. <br />34 <br />35 B. Reports of Staff. <br />36 <br />37 Police Chief Harder thanked everyone who was able to attend the Daddy Daughter Ball. <br />38 <br />39 City Administrator Zikmund asked if the Council supported staff moving forward with finalizing <br />4o numbers for the splash pad. The consensus of the Council was to direct staff to move forward. <br />41 <br />42 City Administrator Zikmund listed the items that would be addressed by the City Council at their <br />43 upcoming worksession meeting, which would be held on Monday, March 5th at 6:30 p.m. He <br />44 reviewed a bit of information staff had found from the first municipal election. <br />45 <br />
