He estimated the chlorine would cost $2,000 per year and staff time would cost $10,000. <br />2 <br />3 Mayor Mueller questioned if the splash pad maintenance could be completed by a seasonal <br />4 employee. Public Works Director Peterson stated his pian would be to have seasonal employees <br />5 complete this work. <br />6 <br />7 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8935, <br />8 Approving Splash Pad Equipment and Installation of the Playground Equipment and <br />9 Components for City Hall Park. <br />10 <br />11 Council Member Meehlhause stated the YMCA Advisory Commission asked if the splash pad <br />12 could be reserved for parties. <br />13 <br />14 Council Member Bergeron suggested the splash pad rental be limited to two hours blocks. <br />15 <br />16 Ayes — 4 Nays — 1 (Hull) Motion carried. <br />17 <br />18 F. Resolution 8934, Authorizing Approval of Waiver for 60th Anniversary Logo <br />19 Contest. <br />20 <br />21 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council authorize approval of a waiver for the 60th <br />22 Anniversary Logo Contest. He explained the waiver was necessary in order for the City to use <br />23 the award-winning logo. <br />24 <br />25 Mayor Mueller asked if only Edgewood Middle School was asked to submit logos for the <br />26 contest. City Administrator Zikmund stated he believed Pinewood Elementary School was also <br />27 asked to be a part of the contest. <br />28 <br />29 Mayor Mueller questioned how the public could view the winning logo. City Administrator <br />30 Zikmund reported the winning logo would be posted on the City's website after the waiver was <br />31 signed. <br />32 <br />33 MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8934, <br />34 Authorizing Approval of Waiver for 60th Anniversary Logo Contest. <br />35 <br />36 Council Member Bergeron asked how the logo would be used by the City. City Administrator <br />37 Zikmund stated it would be used on bags and by staff for correspondence. <br />38 <br />39 Mayor Mueller thanked all who participated in the logo contest. <br />40 <br />41 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />42 <br />43 G. Resolution 8936, Approving Building Alterations and Building Maintenance <br />44 Needs for the Community Center. <br />45 <br />
