ORDINANCE NO. 944 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 200, CHAPTERS 202 AND 203 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE RELATING TO MUNICIPAL FINANCES SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 200, Chapter 202, Section 202.02, Subdivision 3 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double - underlined material as follows: Subd. 3. CLERK: The Mounds View City Administrator or his/her designee. SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 200, Chapter 202, Section 202.02, Subdivision 7 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double - underlined material and deleting the str-ieke material as follows: Subd. 7. NEWSLETTER: A letter published by the City at regular intervals at least six (-)four4 times each year. SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 200, Chapter 202, Section 202.07, Subdivision 2(a) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by deleting the strieke material as follows: a. The Council resolution shall state the nature and scope of the proposed improvement and shall provide means to obtain a cost estimate which shall set forth the cost of the improvement both in unit price and in total thereof. Upon receipt of such estimate, the Council shall, by resolution, set a date for a public hearing on the proposed improvement, setting forth therein the time, place and purpose of such hearing. Such resolution shall be d b a in the City Newsletter and published twice at least one (1) week apart in the official newspaper of the City no less than two (2) weeks prior to the date of said hearing, and in addition thereto, a copy of such resolution, including estimated unit prices and estimated total price thereof, shall be mailed to each benefited property owner at their last known address at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of said hearing. Failure to give mailed notice or any defects in the notice shall not invalidate the proceedings. SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 200, Chapter 202, Section 202.08 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double -underlined material and deleting the strieke material as follows: Subd. 1.
