RESOLUTION 8971 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING COUNCIL GOALS AND PRIORITIES FOR 2018 <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council recognizes the Best Practices of both <br />the process and action of establishing and measuring short and long term goals; and <br />WHEREAS, Council requested staff to work on establishing department goals <br />which were reported at the November 2017 workshop; and <br />WHEREAS, Council used both the November 2017 workshop and January, 2018 <br />workshop to review those goals as well as detail and refine the council established goals; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Councils 2018 goals include substantive work on long range and fiscal <br />planning goals and to that end established two more workshops enabling them to <br />complete that body of work; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View Council wishes to <br />adopt the 2018 Council Priorities as detailed in the attachment and summarize as; <br />• Short and Long Term Financing Plan for all aspects of City Operations <br />• Redevelopment of Mounds View Boulevard <br />• Completion of Trail Section 8 <br />• Environmental Sustainability <br />• Environmental Beautification <br />• Community Connection/Connectivity <br />• Strategy/Vision for Redevelopment on Community Level <br />ATTEST <br />(seal) <br />Adopted this 29th Day of May <br />Carol A.
