To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8498, 4 <br />Approving a Lease Agreement Renewal with Dippin Chocolate, LLC, for Use of Kitchen Space 5 <br />in the Mounds View Community Center. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Council Member Mueller appreciated staff’s detailed report regarding the proposed lease 8 <br />agreement renewal. She believed that both parties benefited from the arrangement. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Flaherty agreed. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 <br /> 14 <br />B. Resolution 8497, Approving Consultant Services Agreement with Greater 15 <br />Metropolitan Housing Corporation for Housing Resource Center Services in 16 <br />2016. 17 <br /> 18 <br />City Administrator Ericson stated the City has been working with the Housing Resource Center 19 <br />since 2001. He discussed the services provided by the Housing Resource Center for the City of 20 <br />Mounds View, along with the number of residents served over the past year. He commented 21 <br />after speaking with the staff at the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation (GMHC) it has 22 <br />been determined that the City could be paying less. Staff recommended approval of the 23 <br />consultant services agreement with GMHC. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested further information on the loan balance available to 26 <br />Mounds View residents. City Administrator Ericson reviewed the loan balance and reported this 27 <br />was a revolving loan fund, which meant as residents make payments, these funds become 28 <br />available again to residents. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Mayor Flaherty hoped an effort would be made by staff to further advertise the resources 31 <br />available to residents by GMHC. 32 <br /> 33 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause.
