<br />RESOLUTION NO. 8595 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR <br />DANIEL STONE <br />MOUNDS VIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Stone resigned from the Mounds View Police Department <br />effective May 20, 2016; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 24.64 hours; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused compensatory time is 7.0 hours; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Stone’s current rate of pay is $22.63 per hour; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor <br />Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be 24.64 <br />accrued/unused vacation hours x his hourly rate of $22.63 = $557.60; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor <br />Agreement, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused compensatory time will be <br />7.0 accrued/unused compensatory hours x his hourly rate of $22.63 = $158.41. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves a one-time payout of vacation time to Daniel Stone not to exceed $557.60, in <br />accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a <br />one-time payout of vacation time to Daniel Stone not to exceed $158.41, in accordance <br />with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of June, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
