<br />RESOLUTION 8601 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Resolution Approving a Temporary On-Sale 3.2 Malt Liquor License for the <br />Mounds View Festival in the Park Committee to Allow Ole Piper Inn to sell 3.2 Malt Liquor <br />During the August 20, 2016, Mounds View Festival in the Park <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance the Mounds View City Code, Temporary 3.2 Malt Liquor Licenses <br />may be issued to a club, charitable, religious or non-profit organization for not more than three (3) <br />consecutive days; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Festival in the Park Committee is a non-profit organization <br />that is requesting to allow Ole Piper Inn of Blaine, Minnesota to serve 3.2 malt liquor during the <br />Mounds View Festival in the Park on August 20, 2016; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Festival in the Park Committee approved to allow Ole Piper <br />Inn to serve 3.2 Malt Liquor during the Mounds View Festival in the Park, contingent on City Council <br />approval of a Temporary On-Sale 3.2 Malt Liquor License; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all City of Mounds View liquor licenses must be approved by the City Council; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has reviewed all application materials; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of a Temporary On-Sale 3.2 Malt Liquor License to <br />the Mounds View Festival in the Park Committee to allow Ole Piper Inn to serve 3.2 Malt Liquor <br />during the Mounds View Festival in the Park, contingent on receiving a satisfactory criminal <br />background check. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby <br />approve a Temporary On-Sale 3.2 Malt Liquor License to the Mounds View Festival in the Park <br />Committee to allow Ole Piper Inn of Blaine, Minnesota to serve 3.2 malt liquor during the Mounds <br />View Festival in the Park on Saturday, August 20, 2016, contingent on a receiving a satisfactory <br />criminal background check. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 27th day of June, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
