RECOMMENDED NEXT STEPS <br /> A. City Administrator and City Staff should review the items listed above and refine <br /> them into a document for presentation and consideration by Council. <br /> B. City Council should affirm that the 7 goals listed above have the majority support of <br /> Council and then adopt the Goal Statements as an official policy document of the <br /> City via resolution. <br /> C. The Goal Statements and supporting Management Action Plans (MAPs) should be <br /> reviewed and updated at least annually as part of the City's ongoing leadership <br /> development and goal-setting workshops/processes. <br /> D. The City Council and Management Team should conduct, at least quarterly, <br /> leadership-team performance mini workshops to review the following: <br /> • Currency of our Goals and Management Action Plans (MAPs) <br /> • The quality of the Council-Staff partnership and teamwork <br /> • Identification of areas where improvements can be made <br /> • Development of strategies for attaining these improvements. <br /> • Celebrating successes achieved during the periods between these mini <br /> leadership-team performance workshops. <br /> 11 <br />
