Item No. °/!r'
Staff Report No.
Meeting Date: April 26, 1999
Type of Business: C.B.
WK: Work Session;PH:Public Hearing;
CA: Consent Agenda; CB:Council Business
• City of Mounds View Staff Report
To: Honorable Mayor and City Council
From: Michael Ulrich, Director of Public Works
Item Title/Subject: Presentation of Spring Lake Rd. / Co. I Street Project Survey
Date of Report: April 21, 1999
Staff received and tabulated the surveys sent to the residents of Spring Lake Road and County
Road I. Residents were requested to rate the three project designs from 1 to 3, with 1 being their
first choice. Some respondents chose not to complete the survey as requested. Many questions
were left blank, as you will note on the spread sheet. The results are attached to this staff report.
There are number of options available as to the direction in which we can proceed at this time.
The residents were informed that the results of the survey would be presented to the City Council
at this meeting. The results are as follows:
1. Proceed with a project representative of the majority of the survey respondents.
2. Mail the survey results to the respondents, or all of the residents concerned and inform
them of the project preferred by the majority of the residents responding.
3. Perform option 2 and schedule an informational meeting to decide on a project.
Staff is requesting direction in this matter. Ramsey County is ready to proceed with the project
when a design is forwarded to them.
Agiatit
i hael Ulrich, Director of Public Works
