RESOLUTION NO. 5323 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR REDEVELOPMENT GRANT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council act as the legal sponsor for the <br /> project(s) contained in the Redevelopment Grant Program application to be submitted on or by <br /> April 1, 1999 and that Kevin Carroll, Mounds View Economic Development Coordinator, is <br /> hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Trade and Economic Development for funding <br /> of the project(s) on behalf of the Mounds View City Council and/or the Mounds View Economic <br /> Development Authority. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council has the legal <br /> authority to apply for financial assistance, and the institutional,managerial, and financial <br /> capability to ensure adequate project administration. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sources and amounts of the local match <br /> identified in the application are committed to the project identified. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council has not violated <br /> any Federal, State or local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict <br /> of interest or other unlawful or corrupt practice. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the state,the <br /> Mounds View City Council may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the <br /> above referenced project(s), and that the Mounds View City Council certifies that it will comply <br /> with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in all contract agreements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that Kevin Carroll, Mounds View <br /> Economic Development Coordinator, is hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are <br /> necessary to implement the project(s) on behalf of the applicant. <br /> Adopted this 22nd day of March, 1999. <br /> Daniel Coughlin, Mayor <br /> I CERTIFY THAT the above Resolution was adopted by the City Council of Mounds <br /> View on March 22, 1999. <br /> Charles S.
