City of Mounds View Staff Report <br /> To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From: Michael Ulrich, Director of Public Works <br /> Item Title/Subject: Set Public Hearing to Amend Chapter 202 of the Municipal Code, <br /> Entitled Public Improvements <br /> Date of Report: August 5, 1999 <br /> To comply with Resolution No. 5357 which adopted the Streets Committee's recommendations <br /> for future street reconstruction projects, a public hearing and two readings will be required to <br /> amend Chapter 202 of the Municipal Code. Staff will prepare an Ordinance amending the <br /> Municipal Code for Council's consideration at that time. <br /> The Ordinance will include blank amounts of the percentage of the assessment for street <br /> • improvements including total reconstruction, overlays, mill and overlays and recycle and <br /> overlays. Also included will be verbiage relating to the percentage of pavement assessed, <br /> percentage of curb and gutter assessed,percentage of a MSA street project assessed and language <br /> regarding the assessment of improvements performed on a County or State Highway. County <br /> Road H2 will also receive turn back funds which will be addressed.
