RESOLUTION NOf�534,3 <br /> Authorize Golf Course Assistant Superintendent position. <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> Councilor introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> WHEREAS,the City needs to attract and retain quality staff to make its golf course successful; <br /> WHEREAS, the City determined that due to the extended hours of operations and the need for a <br /> knowledgeable and dependable individual to backup the Superintendent that it is in the best interests of <br /> the City to have a salaried Assistant Superintendent position; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City authorized said position in 1998,however the position has been vacant for over a <br /> year. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that City <br /> reestablish the Assistant Superintendent position and set the maximum salary for the position for 1999 at <br /> $28,000. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is authorized to advertise, screen, interview and hire an <br /> individual to fill this position as soon as practicable. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and the roll being call, <br /> the following vote was recorded: <br /> Voting Aye: . <br /> Voting Nay: . <br /> Not Voting: . <br /> Whereas said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 23rd day of August, <br /> 1999. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> City Administrator <br />
