Mounds View City Council September 27, 1999 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 10 <br /> Edgewood Drive and TH 10, and the Authorization of Staff to Hire a New Code Enforcement <br /> Staff Member, and to Upgrade the Planning Associate Position. <br /> Ayes— 5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Stigney requested clarification of the ratification, and inquired if his previous <br /> vote, indicating that he was not in support of any of these items, would stand. <br /> Mayor Coughlin stated this motion would allow the previous action to stand, however, <br /> authorizing three votes in the favor of it. <br /> Council Member Stigney inquired if another vote would then be required. Mayor Coughlin <br /> stated this was correct. <br /> In consideration of the viewing audience, Mayor Coughlin suggested the EDA meeting be held <br /> prior to the closed session. The Council agreed. <br /> Mayor Coughlin recessed the Council meeting to the EDA meeting at 8:41 p.m. <br /> Following adjournment of the EDA meeting, Mayor Coughlin announced the Council would <br /> now meet in closed executive session to discuss litigation. He adjourned the regular meeting to a <br /> closed executive session at 8:45 p.m. <br /> G. Closed Session: Regarding Airport Litigation, City Attorney <br /> 11.
