The applicant has an agreement to purchase this site from the property owner, M&E Realty. The Council approved the conditional use permit for this development (Resolution No. 5345 attached for reference) and the ordinance which rezoned the property from B-2, Limited Business Commercial, to R-4, High Density Residential (Ordinance 631, also attached for your reference.) One of the requirements of the approved CUP is that the applicant get approval of a Development Review. The building will have a maintenance free exterior will brick accents on the first floor. The applicant has submitted an architectural rendering of the proposed building, which will be on display for your meeting. In addition to the existing sidewalk along County Road I, the applicant will install a sidewalk along Mounds View Drive to connect to the existing sidewalk, and then have an internal sidewalk on the site to allow the residents and their guests to walk uninterrupted around the building.
