RESOLUTION NO. 5399 <br /> ADOPTING THE 2000 PROPERTY TAX LEVY AND GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council conducted numerous meetings, made available detailed copies of <br /> said budget and published summary information on the proposed 2000 Budget in the City newsletter; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council held a public hearing in accordance with the State of Minnesota Truth <br /> In Taxation requirements on the proposed 2000 Budget on December 6, 1999; and <br /> WHEREAS,when the Fire Improvement Bonds of 1991 were issued, the City's 2000 debt service <br /> payment was scheduled to be $100,776,however, due to changes in the allocation of costs between <br /> participating cities, Mounds View's actual 2000 debt service cost on said bonds will be $73,755. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that <br /> the following appropriations for the calendar year 2000 are hereby approved: <br /> GENERAL FUND: Amount <br /> City Council $ 93,672 <br /> Advisory Commissions 7,270 <br /> City Administrator 123,769 <br /> Elections 21,444 <br /> Central Services 392,952 <br /> Finance 156,200 <br /> Community Development 307,564 <br /> Police 1,441,870 <br /> Fire 177,569 <br /> Streets 341,241 <br /> Fleet management 110,813 <br /> Recreation 130,340 <br /> Parks &Athletic Fields 260,844 <br /> Forestry 56,180 <br /> Social services 15,667 <br /> Contingency 51,162 <br /> Transfer To Other Funds 25,000 <br /> Community Center 50,000 <br /> Fitness Program 4,200 <br /> Fire Bonds of 1991 Debt Service 73,755 <br /> Total General Fund $3,841,512 <br />
