EDA BUSINESS <br /> A. Consideration of an Amendment to the Construction and Removal Agreement <br /> entered into between the City and the Property Owners of 8300 Fairchild Avenue. <br /> This item was referred to the City Council Meeting for consideration. <br /> B. Award of Bid for Locker Room Remodeling at Community Center. <br /> President Coughlin stated it has been recommended by staff that the Authority award the bid for <br /> locker room remodeling at the Community Center to Lund Martin, Inc., at the base bid of <br /> $86,300, with alternate No. 2, at $11,800, for a total contract award of$98,100. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Quick. To Award the Bid for Locker Room Remodeling at the <br /> Community Center to Lund Martin, Incorporated, at the Base Bid of$86,300, with Alternate No. <br /> 2, at $11,800, for a Total Contract Award of$98,100, as Amended to Authorize the Director of <br /> Public Works to Sign Off Change Orders Not to Exceed Ten (10)Percent of the Bid. <br /> Vice President Stigney stated he was opposed to utilizing TIF funds for this project, however, if <br /> they were going to proceed with the matter, he would support awarding the bid to the lowest <br /> bidder. <br /> Director of Public Works Ulrich noted the matter of authorizing someone to sign change orders <br /> for up to 10 percent of the project. <br /> Mayor Coughlin inquired if the motioner and seconder would agree to authorize the Director of <br /> Public Works to sign off change orders, not to exceed 10 percent of the bid. <br /> Commissioners Marty and Quick agreed. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 6. REPORTS <br />
