EDA Meeting#39 <br /> July 14, 1997 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Ms.Bennett explained that Resolution No. 97-EDA-71 would give the EDA President and Executive Director <br /> the authority to sign the Easement Agreement with NSP. She noted that Attorney Long and herself would be <br /> working with NSP to modify the language that will allow the city to possibly move the easement if in the future <br /> the city would like to develop the lot in a different way. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Quick to approve Resolution No. 97-EDA-71,Granting an Easement to NSP for <br /> Utility and Authorizing the President and Executive Director to Execute Electrical Distribution Easement <br /> Agreement. <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> C. Consideration of Authorizing Funds for Professional Services for Highway 10 Corridor Ring Road <br /> Development. <br /> Ms. Sheldon explained that there are several steps that need to be accomplished in order for the city to move <br /> forward on the idea of establishing a ring road that would connect from Long Lake Road and Highway 10 with <br /> a new signalized intersection at Edgewood Drive and Highway 10. The purpose of this is to make it possible <br /> to develop a city center around the intersection with the O'Neil Property and with city property on the north <br /> side. She proceeded to go through a list of the things that need to be accomplished.
