AGENDA ADDITIONS <br /> No additions were considered. <br /> 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> No minutes were available for approval. <br /> 3. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> • No special order of business was considered. <br /> 4. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> No consent agenda was considered. <br /> 5. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> A. MVHRP - Proposal to Purchase 6991 Pleasant View Drive. <br /> Director Jopke gave his report as follows: <br /> At the EDA meeting on April 13, 1998, the Commission approved the appraisal and negotiation <br /> for purchase of 6991 Pleasant View Drive for participation in the Housing Replacement Program. <br /> The City acquired appraisal on the property was in the amount of$56,000. Joe Witzman, <br /> property owner, had received the Ramsey Councty assessed value of the home and property at <br /> $60,500. Mr. Witzman wishes to sell his property at a minimum of the taxed value on the <br /> property. <br /> Stigney questioned the appraisal methods and suggested that the City revise its policies and come <br /> up with a more consistent way of getting properties appraised. <br /> • Koopmeiners asked Attorney Long if Ramsey County's appraisal could be challenged. <br />
