Staff recommended that the Commission approve Resolution 99-EDA-115 <br /> amending the Housing Replacement Program as proposed. <br /> • Commissioner Martynoted that this issue had been discussed at several previous Work Sessions. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Thomason. To adopt Resolution 99-EDA-115, a resolution <br /> approving amendments to the Housing Replacement Program. <br /> Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br /> 6. REPORTS <br /> Commissioner Thomason reported that she had attended the EDC meeting, where they had <br /> discussed the ongoing process regarding the Comprehensive Plan. She stated that an extension <br /> had been filed for submittal of the updated plan. <br /> City Attorney Long advised the Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County was in proper <br /> form and signed. He stated that Director of Public Works Ulrich had signed the Power of <br /> Attorney. He stated that, procedurally, a formal motion should be made. <br /> Commissioner Marty stated that he was not very familiar with the matter. City Attorney Long <br /> stated that this was in relation to a light being placed at the intersection of Xylite Road and <br /> III County Road J. <br /> Commissioner Stigney requested clarification regarding the involvement of Ramsey County, and <br /> the Cities of Mounds View, Anoka, and Blaine. City Attorney Long cited the respective amount <br /> contributed by the participating agencies. Director of Public Works Ulrich stated that the City of <br /> Anoka was performing the work, and that this item had already been approved and budgeted by <br /> the previous Council. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Thomason/Marty. To enter into a Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey <br /> County. <br /> Ayes - 3 Nays - 1 (Stigney) Motion carried. <br /> 7.
