This location is beneficial in fittinginto
coordination sequence. Although notSh Y t 0 intersections with
comments was positive because theintersectionOwas at the midrequiring -point it
int located half wa the traffic signal
Thus, there are two reasons for the specific location on Edgewood Y, one of their first
and minimizing are impareasons
and maximizingspafi operationaltionbetween two adjacent intersections.
g sod Drive; uequal eacinh between intersections
benefits on the south side of the roadway.
The original concept for the extension of Edgcwood Avenue on the north side had two
in the roadway in an effort to miss the Mounds View City very severe curves
from an operational standpoint and did not line up with the bestP location lfe the curves were unacceptable
theater entrance.
The current conceptual alignment shows a curve for Edgewood Drive which provides a vcry
as well as good intersections at Highway I0 and at Bronson Drive.
