17 D. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5283 <br /> ADOPTING THE 1999 PROPERTY TAX LEVY AND GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> Councilor introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council conducted numerous meetings,made available detailed copies of said <br /> budget and published summary information on the proposed 1999 Budget in the City newsletter; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council held a public hearing in accordance with the State of Minnesota Truth <br /> In Taxation requirements on the proposed 1999 Budget on November 30, 1998; and <br /> WHEREAS,when the Fire Improvement Bonds of 1991 were issued,the City's 1999 debt service <br /> payment was scheduled to be$102,771,however,due to changes in the allocation of costs between <br /> participating cities, Mounds View's actual 1999 debt service cost on said bonds will be $80,151. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that <br /> the following appropriations for the calendar year 1999 are hereby approved: <br /> GENERAL FUND: Amount <br /> City Council $ 115,743 <br /> Advisory Commissions 6,450 <br /> City Administrator 123,136 <br /> Elections 7,514 <br /> Central Services 390,624 <br /> Finance 152,857 <br /> Community Development 304,065 <br /> Police 1,429,174 <br /> Fire 177,950 <br /> Streets 330,081 <br /> Fleet management 120,607 <br /> Recreation 98,874 <br /> Parks &Athletic Fields 243,569 <br /> Forestry 54,672 <br /> Social services 15,500 <br /> Contingency 46,000 <br /> Transfer To Other Funds 35,000 <br /> Community Center 50,000 <br /> Fitness Program 4,200 <br /> Fire Bonds of 1991 Debt Service 80,151 <br /> Total General Fund $3,786,167 <br />
