Variable air volume bypass boxes for improved zone control. Costs: $2,000 to$3,000 per added <br /> zone. <br /> 2. Hot water boiler, piping,pumps and controls. <br /> • Better zone controls and allows minimal firing of rooftop units during off hours. <br /> • More efficient energy usage. <br /> • Allows for the usage of hot water heat in vestibules-annual operating costs- $400/year. <br /> • Minimal year maintenance- units will last 15 to 20 years. <br /> 3.
