Currently our <br /> polling location is City Hall. Many have indicated that the last election held in this location <br /> was chaotic due to lack of space. In addition, there is the possibility of construction around <br /> City Hall during the election period. In light of these facts, Edgewood Middle School might <br /> be a better venue for the elections. Community Education has given their permission for use <br /> of the facility (half of the gymnasium) on these two dates. <br /> Staff Recommendation: As City Hall space is limited, staff recommends that Council <br /> pass Resolution 5244 changing the 1998 Election polling location to Edgewood <br /> Middle School. <br />
