Fire Dispatching Services forte Municipality which shall consist of activating <br /> radio pagers, verbally dispatching the fire calls by radio, and tracking the activities of the <br /> personnel and units responding to the fire calls. <br /> IV. COMPENSATION <br /> A. Fire Dispatching Services <br /> The annual compensation payable to the County for the fire dispatching <br /> services shall be determined in January of each year by the following formula: <br /> Central Communications Percentage of <br /> Operating Budget for Central <br /> Previous Year Communications Population of <br /> X Total Calls for X Municipality <br /> Previous Year That Population of <br /> Were Fire Municipality and <br /> Dispatching Calls Anoka County <br /> The population figures used in the compensation formula shall be the most <br /> recent population estimates for the Municipality and Anoka County available from the <br /> Metropolitan Council. In the event the fire dispatching services are provided for a fraction <br /> of a year, the compensation formula shall be prorated to reflect the fraction of the year that <br /> the fire dispatching services were performed. <br /> B. Data Entry Services <br /> The Municipality shall compensate the County for the cost of creating and <br /> entering into the computer dispatching system any additional geographical data base <br /> information for the Municipality that was not in existence at the date this Agreement is <br /> signed. The rate of compensation referred to in this paragraph shall be the gross hourly <br /> salary(including overtime,if applicable)of the employee or employees performing the data <br /> entry services. <br /> V. BILLING AND PAYMENT <br /> Payment for services shall be made upon the presentation of billing statements to <br /> the Municipality. The County shall compute in January of each year the amount due for <br /> services provided the previous year and shall bill the Municipality accordingly. The <br /> Municipality shall make payment to the County within thirty (30) days of its receipt of the <br /> billing statement or make reasonable arrangements for payment acceptable to the County. <br /> - 2 - <br />
