All three fences would be <br /> lengthened to provide greater outfield distance as well as providing greater height at 10'. Current fences <br /> are over 15 years old and are in need of replacement. The added distance of the fields and added height <br /> offence will provide a safer playfield and will make the fields more competitive. Benefits will be safer <br /> play fields and increasing the distance of the fields for more competitve play which enhances the quality <br /> of the playfield <br /> likll three bidders are reputable. The low bidder is Crown Fence & Wire Company at$28,309. <br /> his project would be funded with Park Improvement Funds (410), monies received as Park Dedication • <br /> fees. <br /> ----701. 1-4c-/ <br /> • <br /> RECOMMENDATION: To approve the bid of$28,309 from Crown Fence and Wire Company <br /> o remove current fencing and replace new 10' high fencing at 2 Silver View Park and 1 City Hall <br /> Itheltic fields to be funded with Park Dedication Fees in the Park Improvement Fund (410). <br />
