This <br /> section concerns a requirement for development contracts prior to approval of any subdivision, <br /> rezoning, special use permit, license or any building permit. <br /> This issue had been discussed with Planning Commission, and at their August 7 meeting, staff <br /> presented a concept of how the ordinance would be amended. Planning Commission asked to see <br /> the ordinance in its final form before making the Commission's recommendation to City Council. <br /> • On August 26, 1996, staff requested and the City Council agreed that the public hearing be tabled <br /> and rescheduled for September 23, 1996, to accommodate the Planning Commission's request. <br /> We have since discovered that a notice for the August 26 hearing was not published. Because of <br /> the press of other business, we have not had a chance to draft an ordinance proposal for the <br /> Planning Commission to review. At this time we do not have a definite date on which this item <br /> will be before City Council. <br /> Since the original hearing scheduled for August 26 was not noticed, we will not be showing this <br /> item on your agenda on September 23. We will schedule a hearing and do proper notice after the <br /> proposed amendment is drafted and has been reviewed by Planning Commission. <br /> • <br />... • <br />
