ORDINANCE NO. 96-591 <br /> • <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO LICENSING,AMENDING TITLE 500, CHAPTERS <br /> 502 AND 503, SECTIONS 502.03, 502.06, 502.07, 503.03,503.06 AND 503.07 BY ADDING <br /> NEW SUBDIVISIONS TO THE MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br /> Section 1. Section 502.03 of the Mounds View Municipal Code is amended by adding <br /> new subdivisions to read: <br /> Subd. 6. Temporary Intoxicating Liquor Special Event. A temporary special <br /> event intoxicating liquor license may be issued to a club, or charitable, religious <br /> or other non-profit organization which has been in existence for a least three (3) <br /> years. The license may authorize the sale of intoxicating liquor on-sale for not <br /> more than three (3) consecutive days and may authorize the sale of intoxicating <br /> liquor on premises other than premises the licensee owns or permanently <br /> occupies. The license may provide that the licensee may contract for intoxicating • <br /> liquor catering services with the holder of an on-sale intoxicating liquor license <br /> issue by any adjacent municipality. Licenses under this subdivision are not valid <br /> unless first approved by the commissioner of public safety. This license shall be <br /> required notwithstanding the requirement of any permit by the state. <br /> Subd. 7. Temporary Intoxicating Liquor Banquet. In addition to any permit <br /> which may be required by the state. an intoxicating liquor banquet license may be <br /> issued only to the holder of an on-sale intoxicating liquor license issued under <br /> subdivision 1 of this chapter or to the holder of an on-sale intoxicating liquor <br /> license issued by an adjacent city. Such license will permit the licensee to <br /> dispense intoxicating liquor at any convention,banquet, conference, meeting or <br /> social event conducted on premises owned by the City of Mounds View. The <br /> licensee must be engaged to dispense intoxicating liquor at any event held by a <br /> person or organization permitted to use the premises and may dispense <br /> intoxicating liquor only to person attending the event. The licensee may not <br /> dispense or sell intoxicating liquor to any person attending or participating in an <br /> amateur athletic event held on the premises. <br /> 410 <br />
