PRIVATE RENTAL OF BEL-RAE <br /> „onsiderations: <br /> (Costs are based upon estimates of supplies and staff time. It is estimated that the City will only have <br /> approximately 2 events per month through December. It is estimated that each event will average <br /> approximately 8 hours.) <br /> • Costs Involved <br /> - Part time building monitor$100 per event($12/hour) <br /> - Trash removal (if needed) <br /> - Supplies <br /> Bathroom (paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies) $5 per event <br /> Kitchen(paper towels, cleaning supplies, paper coffee cups) $15 per event <br /> Bar area(straws, napkins, cups) (can require liquor provider to supply) $5 per event <br /> General Cleaning Supplies $ 1.25 per event <br /> - Custodial (if needed) $35 per event($10/hour for 3.5 hours) <br /> - laundry service (towels , table linens) (can require caterer to supply) <br /> -utilities - light, heat- $20 per event <br /> total costs: $1,450 (181.25 per event) <br /> • Potential Revenues: <br /> • -Rental with Kitchen(Assume all use kitchen and pay for clean-up) <br /> - $500 maximum rental charge <br /> - $200 cleanup charge <br /> - $700 total rental charge per event <br /> -Rental without Kitchen(Assume no kitchen use and pay for clean-up) <br /> - $350 maximum rental charge <br /> - $100 cleanup charge <br /> - $450 total rental charge per event <br /> total revenue: $5,600 ($700 per event) - $3,600 ($450 per event) <br /> (20% discount for residents/businesses - $4,480 - $2,880) <br /> • Catering and Alcohol Policy <br /> -licensed caterer only (health department request) <br /> - alcohol served only by licensed liquor provider who carries dram shop insurance. City must be <br /> added as additional to providers policy. Hold harmless agreement required. Certificate of insurance <br /> required. City to set minimum limits of liability on insurance that the provider carries. <br /> - require the hire of a Mounds View Police Officer at$25-$35 per hour. May consider waiving if <br /> event less than three hours and only beer and wine is served. City staff can evaluate on an event by <br /> event basis. <br /> - Pre mix ordered through City prior to event. Must pay for entire container if used or not. <br /> • Insurance Policy <br /> -No additional insurance required unless City would like additional coverage in case private <br /> coverage is not sufficient. <br />
