Dellwood Hills is an 18 hole, private facility <br /> with an active junior program and 275 golf members averaging 27,000 <br /> rounds per year. Northfork is a 21 <br /> hole public golf course which includes a 3 hole practice loop and 30 <br /> station learning center. My responsibilities included the following: <br /> * Ensure that the golfers experience at Northfork had a "Private Club" <br /> atmosphere at a public golf course with top priority being superior <br /> customer sevice and relations <br /> * Owned and operated Golf Shop with over$80,000 gross sales in 1993; <br /> merchandise was turned over twice at a mark up of 20% over cost <br /> * Recruit, sell and coordinate corporate outings with an increase from 3 <br /> tournaments in 1992 to 19 in 1993 <br /> * Write and implement Golf Shop Policy and Procedures Manual <br /> * Develop and run a men's club tournament schedule, increasing <br /> membership by 300% <br /> * Promote and develop a lesson program featuring 30 private lessons, a <br /> five week ladies small group series and a three week junior clinic <br /> * Supervised Caddie master and directed caddie program from its <br /> conception recruiting a base of 20 caddies <br /> * Manage 10 employees and their schedules including training, <br /> motivating,and evaluation of their performance <br /> * Golf car maintenance with a fleet of 40 cars <br /> * Organized and maintained the GHIN Handicap System <br /> * Oversee the clubhouse, Food and Beverage Manager, Golf Course <br /> Superintendant and all personnel within the above areas • I <br />
