Mr. Espeseth's property is currently zoned as R-1, <br /> Single Family Residential. Section 1106.04, Subd. 6, of the Municipal Code, requires a conditional use permit <br /> for garages exceeding 864 square feet. <br /> The applicant has provided a statement that"The current two car garage on this property is not sufficient size <br /> to store our business vehicle, pleasure vehicle, family car, boat and trailer, antique collector car and <br /> snowmobile trailer, under roof and out of sight of the community members. We wish to erect this structure in <br /> hopes to clean the yard and driveway of unsightly items." <br /> An existing garage and shed are located on the property. The applicant is aware these structures will need to <br /> be removed, and that no other accessory structures may be constructed on the property if the CUP for the <br /> oversized garage is granted.
