RESOLUTION NO. 4981 • <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW • <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UNION CONTRACT AND THE COMPENSATION SCHEDULE <br /> AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION SCHEDULE FOR POLICE UNION <br /> WHEREAS, representatives from L.E.L.S and City personnel have met and discussed the 1996- <br /> 1997 Union Contract; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed the 1996-1997 Police Union Compensation Schedule presented in <br /> Appendix A, to reflect a 3%annual compensation adjustment for 1996 and 1997; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City continue to make a contribution toward the cost of <br /> employee health insurance. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Police Union Contract for January 1, 1996 to December 31, 1997, effective January 1, 1996; <br /> and • <br /> 2. The 1996 and 1997 base wage for Police Union Personnel shall be as specified in the 1996 <br /> Compensation Schedule, Appendix A, effective January 1, 1996 and January 1, 1997. <br /> 3. The City shall make a contribution of up to $330/mo in years 1996 and 1997 toward the cost of <br /> family health insurance and shall pay the entire premium for full-time single health insurance, <br /> effective January 1, 1996. <br /> 4. The City shall increase the contribution for uniform allowance from $495 to $520 for calendar <br /> year 1996 effective January 1, 1996 and increase the uniform allowance from $520 to $530 in <br /> calendar year 1997, effective January 1, 1997. <br /> Adopted this 29th day of July, 1996 <br /> ATTEST <br /> Mayor Linke <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Chuck Whiting, City Administrator <br />
