ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION 1996 WORK PLAN Mission Statement The Economic Development Commission shall serve as an advisory body Development Authority to promote a positive economic climate and revitalize the community by developing programs to retain and expand existing businesses, attract desirable new businesses, and redevelop target areas in the City.
