Mounds View Cable Committee • <br /> April 11, 1996 Minutes <br /> Page two <br /> REPORT FROM SUE HENRY Chairperson Skelly will be representing <br /> the City at a CTV telecommunication needs <br /> assessment workshop in mid-April. Producer Henry <br /> reported that Jerry Skelly, Jr. will be editing the <br /> DARE video together. The footage was shot the first <br /> week of April. <br /> Committee member Saarion will fully advertise for the <br /> Cable Producer/Technician position to get new <br /> applications coming in. <br /> PROGRAM PLANNING FOR Discussion took place about the upcoming View <br /> VIEW FROM THE MOUND from the Mound. The following topics were decided <br /> upon for the May production: interview with Chuck <br /> Whiting, tree trimming/pruning with City Forester <br /> Rick Wriskey, and Tip of the Month with a golf pro at <br /> the Bridges Golf Course. The production will all be <br /> done on-location. Production is tentatively set for ill. <br /> Friday, May 3 in the morning. Dale Irving will be <br /> doing the production in the interim until a new <br /> Producer is in place. <br /> REPORT ON NEW PROGRAMS Chairperson Skelly said he has received some <br /> environmental videos produced to show where lottery <br /> money is being spent. The tapes will be good to air on <br /> the Channel. They will be put on hold for the time <br /> being. Producer Henry reported "The Only Game in <br /> Town" video produced by Channel 8 (Duluth) has <br /> arrived. The video will be used in coordination with <br /> an interview with Mounds View resident Gil Groberg. <br /> The baseball piece will contain these two parts. <br /> Chairperson Skelly reported that he hopes to get <br /> Groberg in an upcoming Saints game.The barbershop <br /> video is in the Producer's office and will be put on <br /> hold until a new Producer is in place. <br /> CTV - PRODUCTION CLASSES Committee members Hodges, Haake. Skelly, and <br /> Meyer have one more production class left. The class <br /> has reportedly been very interesting. The Committee <br /> members hope to be able to aid the Producer more <br /> with their new skills. <br />
