If adopted, this <br /> resolution would approve your Housing Replacement Program and make the determination <br /> that it is consistent with and in furtherance of the "Project Plan" of the Mounds View <br /> Economic Development Project, which is the basic tax increment/development district <br /> structure which encompasses the entire City of Mounds View. <br /> Based upon rhe draft document of the Housing Replacement Progam which you <br /> telecopied to me on April 24, I believe it is indeed consistent with the goals and activities <br /> which have heretofore been included within the Project Plan by resolutions of bath the City <br /> Council and the EEA Board. <br /> If the Board `Fleeted to do so in particular cases, I believe it would be authorized to <br /> use such revenues as 'are derived from the Project Area, including with out limitation tax <br /> increment revenue to fund the activities of the Housing Replacement Program. <br /> Furthermore, any proceeds of the EDA derived from subsequent sales of these acquired <br /> sites would no longer constitute tax increment revenue and would therefore be eligible for <br /> deposit into a moregeneral revolving redevelopment account of the EDA. <br /> • <br /> 319789.1 <br />
