THIS IS <br /> IT . . . . <br /> FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 6 - MAY 10, 1996 <br /> ADMINISTRATION <br /> • Monday morning Chuck met with Duane McCarty who provided him with background <br /> and an update on the airport and the Metropolitan Airports Commission <br /> • On Tuesday, Mary Saarion and Chuck met with Blaine Brothers, the owners of the <br /> property abutting The Bridges Golf Course. <br /> ♦ Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Chuck and Dawn attended the MCMA Conference at <br /> Craguns. <br /> • Attached are the minutes of the Quarterly Fire Department Meeting dated <br /> May 1, 1996. <br /> • Lynnette Morgan was on vacation this week visiting her sister in California. <br /> Michele <br /> ♦ The purchase agreement has been reviewed by Tony Jambor's attorney and with minor <br /> changes the agreement was signed on May 8th at 5:00 pm. Closing date is July 1, 1996. <br /> The City will need to consider if we would like to honor events through the rest of the <br /> year. I will be meeting the Tony next week to discuss. There may be a need to schedule a <br /> special work session prior to May 28th meeting. <br /> • <br /> ♦ As a follow-up to the EDA's work session regarding Highway 10, I have attached a <br /> summary of the strategies that were developed with regards to the three priority areas of <br /> development. If you have any comments or additions please let me know and I will revise. <br />
