PUBLIC WORKS <br /> • On March 25, Tim F. and Mark, attended an"Exam Prep Course" for the"D" Water <br /> License they are going to take in April. <br /> • On March 27, Mike and Tim P. brought the new dump truck to J Craft in Kimball, Mn for <br /> the installation of the box. <br /> • To date, $3,500.00 has been collected for road restriction permits. <br /> • The Water Department spent most of the day (March 27) with WaterPro and Sensus, <br /> learning how to radio read from a vehicle. <br /> ♦ The Streets Department, along with the Sewer Department, worked on snow removal and <br /> salting/sanding Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. SPRING WHERE ARE YOU?! <br /> Tracy <br /> POLICE <br /> • Chief Ramacher, with Council approval, met with the Civil Service Commission and will <br /> start hiring a replacement for Jack Chambers. <br /> ♦ A meeting was held, with all involved, regarding the records system consolidation. All is <br /> still moving forward and the changeover should be coming soon. <br /> • Mike Kampa has been to the doctor regarding his latest surgery on his shoulder. If all goes <br /> well, he should be returning to work within the next two months. <br /> • The D.A.R.E. vehicle is near completion and is looking very good. This squad has more <br /> lights, bells and whistles than you can imagine. It will present a very good image for the <br /> City and D.A.R.E. <br /> • Chief Ramacher is heading to Purdue this weekend to watch his son play baseball against <br /> the Golden Gopher Team. He has the flu, but being the Purdue fan that he is, he's going <br /> anyway. Dave Brick <br />
