RESOLUTION NO. 4892 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER METER QUARTERLY CHARGES <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View will adopt ' a <br /> quarterly meter charge; and <br /> WHEREAS, these charges were approved upon. the City <br /> Councils adoption of the meter change out project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funds received will support the <br /> repayment of the loan from the Special Projects Fund for the meter <br /> change out project; and <br /> WHEREAS, when the loan repayment is completed <br /> (approximately 12 years) , these charges may be continue <br /> • <br /> capital funds for future Water Utility improvements . to provide <br /> WHEREAS, additional charges related to the meter <br /> change out project such as non-compliance to participate, and a <br /> customer preferring to install a radio read system were also <br /> • included. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br /> of the City of Mounds View adopts the following quarterly meter <br /> charges based on meter size. <br /> • <br /> Residential Meters <br /> 5/8 " to 1" <br /> Commercial Meters $3 . 00 <br /> 1 inch <br /> 1 1/2 inch $3 . 60 <br /> 2 inch $6 . 00 <br /> 3 inch $7 . 40 <br /> 4 inch $19 . 00 <br /> Non-compliance to $31 . 50 <br /> Non-com <br /> P participate, $50 . 00/quarter <br /> including manual billing <br /> Customer' s option for radio read-- <br /> and increased capit $15 : 00/quarter <br /> al outlay $27 . 00 <br />
