• • Prepare and distribute a park facility guide to all residents. <br /> • Completed in 1995. <br /> TRAILWAYS AND WALKWAYS <br /> • Coordinate funding mechanism, preliminary design plans and construction for Highway 10 <br /> pedestrian bridge. <br /> • Process begun in 1995-construction in 1996. <br /> • Initiate cooperative opportunities with Ramsey County to: <br /> • Construct sidewalk along Silver Lake Road from County Road H to County Road <br /> I. <br /> ♦ Grant denied. <br /> • Construct an off-street bikeway along Highway 8 connecting Mounds View to <br /> Long Lake Regional Park. <br /> • Researching as part of Old Highway 8 reconstruction. <br /> • Work with Public Works to provide on-street bikeway possibilities as per <br /> Trailways Advisory Group plan. <br /> ♦ On-going as opportunities arise. <br /> • Continue to pursue grants for: <br /> • The advancement of street bikeways as per Trailways Advisory Group plan. <br /> ♦ As grants become available. <br /> • Paving portions of Silver View Park Trail. <br /> • CDBG grant submitted in 1995 and was unfunded <br /> • Continue to improve parks for accessibility. <br /> ♦ Accessibility goes along with all improvements. <br />
