Chapter 1106.04 <br /> Subdivision 6 of the Municipal Code allows for garages in excess of 864 square feet and up to 1,264 <br /> square feet with the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit. <br /> On April 5, 1995, the City Council approved Resolution No, 4760 recommending approval of a conditional <br /> use permit to allow an oversized garage (940 square feet) at 2908 Ardan Avenue. On November 29, 1995, <br /> li . Honkomp made application to increase the garage size by 54 additional square feet from 940 to a total <br /> �f 994 square feet. Mr. Honkomp plans to use the additional 54 square feet to the garage for the <br /> construction of a mud room. <br /> Section 1106.04, Subd. 6c of the Municipal Code specifies the combined square footage of all accessory <br /> buildings on one lot cannot exceed one thousand two-hundred sixty-four(1,264) square feet. The 994 <br /> square feet CUP request for an oversized garage is within the 1,264 square feet maximum square footage <br /> allowable by Municipal Code. As the property is vacant, no other sheds or accessory buildings exist on the <br /> property. <br /> Staff has reviewed the application and plan submitted by the applicant and found the request to be in <br /> compliance with the regulations outlined in Chapter 1106. The Mounds View Planning Commission has <br /> reviewed this item and recommends approval in Resolution No. 436-95. <br /> I have included all materials received as part of this application for your review. Additionally, Resolution <br /> No. 4878 has been prepared for your consideration.
