<br />ORDINANCE No. 927 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO TITLE 1100, CHAPTERS 1102, 1103, AND 1106 OF <br />THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE RELATING TO <br />ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS <br /> <br />The City of Mounds View Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View herby amends Title 1100, Chapters <br />1102; 1103; and 1106 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined material <br />and deleting the stricken material as follows: <br /> <br />Chapter 1102: Zoning Rules and Definitions <br /> <br />Section1102.02: Definitions: The following words and terms, wherever they occur in this <br />Code, shall be defined as follows: <br /> <br />Subd. 43. DWELLING, TWO-FAMILY: A dwelling designed exclusively for occupancy by <br />two (2) families living independently of each other, also known as double bungalow, <br />duplex, side-by-side two (2)-family dwellings. An Accessory Dwelling Unit is not a <br />Two-Family Dwelling. <br /> <br />Subd. __: DWELLING UNIT, ACCESSORY: a dwelling unit that is located on the same lot as <br />a single-family dwelling to which it is accessory to ; and is internal, or an addition onto <br />the principal dwelling. <br /> <br /> <br />1103.02: DWELLING UNIT RESTRICTIONS: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. No cellar, garage, tent, recreational vehicle, travel trailer or accessory building shall <br />at any time be used as an independent residence or dwelling unit, temporarily or <br />permanently, except as permitted pursuant to Section 1106.03, Subd 10 (Accessory <br />Dwelling Units). <br /> <br /> <br />Chapter 1106: R-1, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br />Section 1106.02: PERMITTED USES: The following are permitted uses in an R-1 <br />District: <br /> <br />
