Resolution 8618, Approving the Purchase of a 2017 Ford F250 Pickup Truck 8 <br />for the Sewer Department. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council approve the purchase of a 2017 Ford F250 11 <br />pickup truck for the Sewer Department. He indicated this truck was on the replacement 12 <br />schedule. It was noted an older truck would be traded in and a jib crane would be placed on the 13 <br />new Sewer Department truck. He explained the new truck would be used for routine sewer 14 <br />maintenance. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked if there was any concern of going from a one ton to a ¾ ton 17 <br />pickup truck. Public Works Director Erickson believed the proposed pickup truck would manage 18 <br />the sewer workload well. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Finance Director Beer questioned if the existing jib crane would be sold with the older truck. 21 <br />Public Works Director Erickson reported this was the case noting the crane would make the older 22 <br />truck more marketable. 23 <br /> 24 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause.
