<br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 926 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO TITLE 1100 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY <br />CODE PERTAINING TO COCKTAIL ROOMS, MICROBREWERIES, <br />MICRODISTILLERIES, AND TAPROOMS <br /> <br />The City of Mounds View Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1102 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the <br />stricken material as follows: <br /> <br />Chapter 1102: Zoning Rules and Definitions <br />Section 1102.02: Definitions <br /> <br />Subd. XX: Cocktail Room: A Microdistillery licensed by the MN Dept. of Public Safety; and is <br />licensed by the City for on-sale and/or off-sale of distilled liquor produced by the <br />distiller for consumption on the premises of or adjacent to one distillery location owned <br />by the distiller. A Cocktail Room may include a restaurant at the Microdistillery. <br /> <br />Subd XX: Microbrewery: A facility operated by a person licensed by the MN Dept. of Public <br />Safety as a Minnesota Micro Brewer, Small Minnesota Brewer, or Minnesota Brewer <br />producing not more than 250,000 barrels of malt liquor annually. <br /> <br />Subd XX: Microdistillery: A distillery operated within the state producing premium distilled <br />spirits in total quantity not to exceed 40,000 proof gallons in a calendar year. <br /> <br />Subd XX: Taproom: A Microbrewery licensed by the MN Dept. of Public Safety; and is licensed <br />by the City for on-sale and/or off-sale of malt liquor produced by the brewer for <br />consumption on the premises of or adjacent to one brewery location owned by the <br />brewer. A Taproom may include a restaurant at the Microbrewery. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1113 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the <br />stricken material as follows: <br /> <br />Chapter 1113: B-2, Limited Business District <br />Section 1113.04 Conditional Uses <br /> <br />Subd 11. Taproom and/or Cocktail Room as an accessory use of a Microbrewery and/or <br />Microdistillery
