Below is the <br />proposed hiring schedule: <br /> <br />Council Authorization to Advertise Position: September 12, 2016 <br /> <br />Placed on the League of Minnesota City <br />Website, City’s website and other related websites: September 13, 2016 <br /> <br />Sunday edition of the <br />Star Tribune: September 18, 2016 <br /> <br />Deadline for Submitting Applications: October 7, 2016 <br /> <br />Review all Applications: October 10 and 11, 2016 <br /> <br />Top Candidates Decided: October 11, 2016 <br /> <br />Interviews: October 13-18, 2016 <br /> <br />Top Candidate Presented to City Council: November 14, 2016 <br /> <br />Candidate starts employment: on or about the week of November 29, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is requesting Council approval of attached Resolution 8626 authorizing the <br />advertisement and job description for the CSO position in the Police Department.
