<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8627 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE HIRING OF MARGAR ET HICKS TO THE POSITION OF <br />POLICE RECORDS/EVIDENCE TECHNICIAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Records/Evidence Technician position will become vacant <br />due to the retirement of Kathy Bednar on September 30, 2016; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the candidates were evaluated on training and experience, an oral <br />interview and a complete background investigation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Police Civil Service Commission certified the top three names on <br />the eligibility list and recommended candidate Margaret Hicks be hired as the Police <br />Records/Evidence Technician; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff on the police department, including the Police Chief, have met with <br />Margaret Hicks and recommend that she be appointed to the position of Police <br />Records/Evidence Technician. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to approve the hiring of Margaret Hicks to the position of <br />Police Records/Evidence Technician at step 4 starting wage of $23.33/hour (2016 rate) <br />with an effective date on or about September 27, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of September, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: ____________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(seal) <br />
