She was proud of the Mayor and City Council for having the 6 <br />vision to amend this portion of City Code. 7 <br /> 8 <br />ROLL CALL: Gunn/Meehlhause/Mueller/ Flaherty. 9 <br /> 10 <br /> Ayes – 3 Nays – 1 (Flaherty) Motion carried. 11 <br /> 12 <br />2. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 925, an Ordinance 13 <br />Amending Title 500, Chapter 502, to add Micro Breweries, Brewpubs, 14 <br />Distilled Spirits, Microdistilleries, and Taprooms Business Licensing to 15 <br />the Liquor Code. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the Council hold a public hearing and adopt an 18 <br />Ordinance amending Title 500 within City Code adding microbreweries, brewpubs, distilled 19 <br />spirits, microdistilleries, and taprooms business licensing to the liquor code. She explained this 20 <br />item was discussed by the Council at their August 8th meeting. Staff reviewed the revised 21 <br />Ordinance and recommended approval. If approved this evening, the Ordinance would become 22 <br />effective October 2nd. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Flaherty opened the public hearing at 9:19 p.m. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 9:19 p.m. 27 <br /> 28 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance 925, 29 <br />an Ordinance Amending Title 500, Chapter 502, to add Micro Breweries, Brewpubs, Distilled 30 <br />Spirits, Microdistilleries, and Taprooms Business Licensing to the Liquor Code, directing staff to 31 <br />publish an Ordinance summary. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked Planner Sevald and Assistant City Administrator Crane 34 <br />for their work on this Ordinance amendment. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council Member Mueller questioned what the next step would be for this matter.
