Revised as of Oct 10, 2016 at 830am RESOLUTION NO. 8641 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE PAYMENT TO RECEPTIONIST/RECYCLING COORDINATOR MARY SPRINGER WHEREAS, Mary Springer submitted her resignation effective October 5, 2016; and WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 99.26 hours; and WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 102.98 hours; and WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused compensatory time is 33.25 hours; and WHEREAS, Mary Springer’s current rate of pay is $23.31 per hour; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused sick time will be 99.26 hours x 50% x her hourly rate of $23.31 = $1,156.87 into Mary Springer’s Retirement Health Savings Plan (RHSP); and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.45(c) of the Mounds View Personnel Manual, the maximum potential payout of accrued/unused vacation time will be 102.98 hours x her hourly rate of $23.31= $2,400.46 into Mary Springer’s RHSP; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual the maximum potential cash payout of Mary Springer’s accrued/unused compensatory time will be 33.25 x her hourly rate of $23.31 = $775.05. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a one-time payout of sick time and vacation time not to exceed $3,557.33 into Ms. Springer’s RHSP in accordance with Section 3.45 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual. NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves a one-time cash payout of compensatory time not to exceed $771.73 $775.05 in accordance with Sections 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual.
