<br /> <br />Resolution 8636 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Abbey Carpet and Floor provided the lowest quote for the <br />installation of carpet and tile at the Groveland Park building. The Commission <br />recommended moving forward with the installation at an estimated cost of $6,665.87. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1) The estimated project cost is $35,023.25 with an additional 10% <br />contingency of $3,500.00 for a total project cost of $38,523.25. The <br />work at Random Park will be completed by RAK Construction in the <br />amount of $28,357.38. The work at Groveland Park will be completed <br />by Abbey Carpet and Floor in the amount of $6,665.87.The estimated <br />project cost is $36,617.58 and to include a 10% contingency of <br />$3,661.76, for a total project cost of $40,279.34 and to be completed by <br />RAK Construction which, along with the City, is a member of the <br />National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA). <br /> <br />2) These projects will be funded from the 2016 adopted Park Dedication <br />Fund budget, 451-4470-7050 for the building maintenance needs and <br />building alterations.To be funded from the 2016 adopted budget, <br />account 451-4470-7050 for the building maintenance needs and <br />building alterations. <br /> <br />3) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions <br />contemplated by this resolution. <br /> <br />4) The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby <br />authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions <br />necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this <br />Resolution. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 10th day of October, 2016. <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br />(seal)
