<br />Item No: 7.C <br />Meeting Date: October 24, 2016 <br />Type of Business: Council Business <br />Administrator Review: _____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Mark Beer, Finance Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Public Hearing to Receive Public Input and Pass Upon <br />Resolution 8644 Adopting a Special Assessment Levy for Unpaid <br />Administrative Offense Charges and Nuisance Abatement <br />Charges. <br /> <br /> <br />A public hearing is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter to receive public input regarding <br />the proposed assessment of unpaid administrative offense charges and nuisance abatement <br />charges. Individual notices of the meeting were sent by first class mail to the affected property <br />owners. <br /> <br />The property owner may pay the amount due by 4:30 P.M. on Monday, October 24, 2016 in order <br />to avoid the $35.00 administrative fee. The owner may prepay the assessment between October <br />25, 2016 and November 24, 2016 without paying additional interest. After that, interest at the rate <br />of 5.50% will accrue from October 24, 2016 through the payment date.
