<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 8661 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,853.50 AND AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, since its establishment in Mounds View in 2004, Bethlehem Baptist <br />Church has generously supported activities that have benefited the residents of Mounds <br />View; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church would like to continue that support by <br />making a contribution to the City of Mounds View of $15,853.50 to support the following <br />programs and activities: <br /> <br />* Ralph Reeder Food Shelf $2500 <br />* Early Learning Readiness Program $5000 <br />* Community Engagement Activities $2000 <br />* Annual Campaign $2000 <br />* Quincy House $1000 <br />* Safe After School Program for Youth $3353.50 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation of $15,853.50 from Bethlehem Baptist <br />Church, authorizes the distribution of the funds as directed herein, and approves the <br />amendment of the 2016 Budget as may be necessary. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 14th day of November, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br /> _____________________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ____________________________________ <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(seal) <br />
